About Taco Bahama
Taco Bahama combines Asian flavors with Mexican-style tacos. Embracing the food truck scene from downtown LA and the southern coast of California and Mexico, all the way to the streets of Japan, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, and China, we love great tacos. Not your traditional fried shells, but inventive, healthy, and delicious bites youβll want to eat every day.
Located at 64 Main St, Tuckahoe, NY 10707, Taco Bahama operates as a restaurant serving Tuckahoe in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Tuckahoe is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tuckahoe follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The place is super cute, the food is delicious; a bit greasy but good. The drinks are good as well. The service top notch. I will definitely be returning.

I got 4 taco types on taco Tuesday ($4 dollar per taco deal, save $1), the happy hour margarita and the birria ramen. I loved the birria taco most compared to the gen tso taco, Korean short rib taco and the carne asada taco. All the tacos were good, but the birria taco was something Iβd visit for. I did not like the birria ramen and am very grateful that the bartender (manager?) took it off for me, since he saw I didnβt enjoy it. I remarked that the ramen didnβt have enough soup. The bowl was super shallow, the temperature was mild, and the soup that was there was more like a consommΓ© amount,. The meat was generous, the ramen was a little too soft and there was a half an avocado on top. Sander was proactive about my experience and removing the dish I didnβt like was great customer service. Iβm def coming back for birria tacos.

If you're looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience that fires on every cylinder, Taco Habana is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, everything the food, the atmosphere, and the people makes you feel genuinely welcome. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish arrived beautifully presented, and the flavors were bold, vibrant, and deeply satisfying. The Carne Asada Bowl was a standout tender, perfectly seasoned beef layered over a generous, well-balanced bowl that left nothing to be desired. The Birria Tacos were the kind you dream about: rich, slow-cooked, and served just right, with that signature depth of flavor birria demands. And the Pastor Tacos were a true delight the al pastor meat was caramelized and juicy, hitting every note of sweet, savory, and smoky. Beyond the food, the ambiance was warm, cozy, and immaculately clean a space that feels cared for, which says a lot about the pride this establishment takes in its guests' experience. The service matched that energy perfectly: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. You feel like a guest, not just a table number. Taco Habana isn't just a meal it's an experience. Absol

These tacos are incredible β served on stainless steel trays with perfectly grilled tortillas and loaded with flavor. The al pastor with charred pineapple, tender birria (favorite) with pickled onions, and juicy steak tacos were all amazing. The kids meal had watermelon/pineapple skewers and corn. The restaurant had a fun down south Florida vibe. Generous portions, bold flavors, and excellent quality. Highly recommend!

Edit & update!!! Came here in a Friday night and WAS NOT the vibe. Started with the hostess at the door! Incredibly rudeβ¦. Order was all messed up. The table next to us got charged for the food we never received. I donβt want to say never coming backβ¦ but def never coming back on a Friday night. Service was terrible. β/ Taco Bahama in Tuckahoe is officially one of our new favorite spots. The staff is super warm and welcoming, the place is calm, and the food is crazy good. Itβs this Asian-Mexican mix that just works so well. I always get the Cuban Cooler (so refreshing) and my partner loves the Ali Wong. The apps slap (street corn, plantains, sticky ribs, tuna rice cakesβ¦ all amazing). We usually get the bento boxes, 3 tacos, dumplings, soup, and guac/seaweed salad ,worth every penny. Our favorite tacos are the Thai Meatball, Americano, Baja cod, Cowboy Steak, Sweet Potato, Steve Aoki, and The Southern. We even brought our 10-year-old and he left planning his next order. Super cozy, great food, great drinks. Highly recommend.
